Today, we visited the Umutcan Bakir study tent
Today, we visited the Umutcan Bakir study tent, named after a 10-year-old killed by the earthquake, in the Karapinar region of Adiyaman. The tent, put together by members of Emek Gencligi, was flooded by the extreme rain conditions last month and became unusable. The young volunteers are now rebuilding the tent and told us that they hope to open up activities for young people in the area.
